I thought we needed a "where are they now" thread of former Hawkeye football players.

We know where the Chuck Longs and Bobby Stoops of the world are. What about the Tom Nichols, or Ramon Ochoa, or Nathan Chandlers of past teams???

I know that Kyle McCann is getting or has got his law degree from Creighton and is living in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area.
I saw in a newspaper article that Blake Larsen is a police officer around Kansas City.

I like the idea of hearing about old Hawkeyes.

I knew about Cook at Regina, but I had missed that he hired Hinkel. Good stuff!

I know that Brad Banks tested his luck in the Canadian League, but didn't do much damage. I'm not entirely sure what he's doing right now - I know that he didn't have the best grades in the world.

im actually 99 percent sure banks is still a backup for winnipeg in the CFL if i can get a link up i will post it. thanks for the news on hinkel he was one of my favorite recent hawkeye players, and for kyle mccann too i still have a picture with him from the alamo bowl in '01.

yeah, he played for the hawkeyes.....wonder what he's up to these days?
