I'm still making additions/corrections. But I didn't realize Iowa was so guard heavy.

That should work out OK as it seems that Lickliter's offense centers around the play of the guards. At least that is the impression that I get.

True... but that 2007 Class is all Alford for the most part, was he planning on running a guard heavy attack?

I am not sure he ever had a plan, period.

Also if anyone knows who is on scholarship for 2007 I will update the scholarships available as well.

I believe that both Drew Adams and Dan Bohall are walk-ons. I know they both were and I don't think that they have been given scholarships.

Then that's the assumption I'll work off. Remember if the wall crumbles it's your fault ;-)

So David Palmer is not eligible for next season either? I thought he was he would help us big-time in the post. And look at Butler's roster and their best players last year, all guards. Lick does have a guard heavy attack and they shoot a lot of threes. And apparently they don't have to be the best looking guys in the world either (i.e. A.J. Graves)

This might be a dumb question, but why is Palmer ineligable this year? didn't he sit out last year?

I didn't realize he had sat out last year. The roster i looked at showed him as ineligible this season... let me ask you this... when did he transfer? Before or during last season. If it was during... then he has to sit out a portion of the season (usually until the Big Ten Season).

David Palmer transferred before last season. He followed Billy Garrett from Seton Hall. He WILL be eligible for the '07-'08 season. Assuming his academics are in line, of course, and I have no reason to believe that they aren't.

He will certainly help the Hawkeyes out in the post.

After some internal debate and research... i think this is as close to accurate as we're going to get this afternoon ;-)
