Jason Ford committed to the Hawkeyes, guess the departure of Shonn Greene helped. Glad to have him, and he said he's going to summer school to work on his grades, so that is a good thing.

I guess the Zooker will finally remember Iowa's RB's name when he fields a team against them.

Isn't Nate Kaeding starting at RB this year for the Hawks?

Yeah, I think he is - he beat out Robert Gallery for the starting spot in spring practice - or so I hear.

Is there something I missed about Zook?

Use this search string and I'll bet you will find what we were joking about:

Zook + Kaeding + "Outback Bowl" + 2004 + "running back"

Hint: Zook was the Florida coach at the time.

Yup, and for those that are too lazy to do a google search....

While at Florida, when Zook was talking to the press about Iowa in preparation to the Outback Bowl, he informed everybody that "Iowa's RB, Nate Kaeding, is a very dangerous back and we will be prepared for him." Or something to that effect.

Ah Zooker, you never let us down.

Also of note, i recall Freddie going for about 150 against Florida....clearly they were all set to stop Kaeding and forgot about our OTHER running back....

Chandler had a great game as well. Good times.

Lol i don't know how i missed that, further proof that Zook is an idiot who couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. The '04 Outback Bowl is a great memory, total domination.
