I found this interesting for a couple of reasons. First, because it gives me the chance to laugh at a politician. It also shows that Pollard isn't wavering to people with a sense of entitlement.

Will this year's game reach SRO sell out? Not likely. Will it be a sell out? No doubt in my mind. (About a 7000 attendance difference, in case you were wondering)

Thought that politicians were elected to serve their constituents, not to be served by their constituents. Not a big fan of ISU, but way to go.

Politicians always think they can get anything they want. It's a little ridiculous - but I'm glad Pollard stood his ground... kind of. Although, I still think the game there in Ames has really gotten away of what it is supposed to be - a big game between in-state schools, not a chance for a little munipulative marketing.
