Per WTHR (http://www.wthr.com/Global/story.asp?S=7904939)

Probably negotiating a buy-out. Scott Drew of Baylor and Brad Brownell of Wright St., supposedly on the shortlist.

Scott Drew would be a fool to leave Baylor. While IU is infinitely better than Baylor, he literally has no pressure down there in Waco.

According to Foxsports, Sampson has been fired. Don't really follow coaches that much, but Isiah Thomas should be out of a job soon with the Knicks.

Didn't even think about that one...interesting news today, but I was definitely expecting it sometime soon. I couldn't see Drew of Baylor leaving either, they are just happy WHENEVER the team wins after their horrible tragedies of a few years ago, and he hasn't even really finished the rebuilding process yet. Adam Haluska was also traded from the Hornets to the Houston Rockets today, and I'm going to a Houston game in two weeks, so I'll try to get a pic with him!

I heard a writer from CBSSportsline (can't remember who) that mentioned these names as "his" likely top of list to replace Sampson:

Anthony Grant, VCU
Kevin Stallings, Vanderbilt
Scott Drew, Baylor

Skiles was on the list as well.

If you're a guy that wants to take your shot at leading one of the true basketball institutions of college basketball, Indiana is on a very short list of programs. Duke, Kentucky, Kansas are on that short list.

Brad Brownell of Wright St... it's a gut feeling.
