NU went on the road and beat UM 62-60.

That is. Well, I guess the only real good that can come out of this is that NU will now have that win under their belts, and it won't be Iowa this weekend to end their losing streak.

The thing is, they've been in so many of their recent games. Like I said the other day, they could have easily won here in Iowa City. I'm glad they didn't, but they were up 14 in the second half. Same thing on Saturday, against Indiana. All games they were in and playing fairly well. They just needed to get over that hump and get the coveted "W."

Just when you think Michigan's turned the corner, this happens at Crisler. But, IC's right (again - you're on a streak tonight :p), Northwestern has been playing good enough that a "W" was coming any time. Glad it wasn't in Iowa City last week. That trip to Evanston next week just got tougher.

Only a matter of time the way they have been playing, but good for the players!! I bet they were starting to wonder if they were cursed. Surprised to see Michigan go down though, thought they had become pretty scary the past few weeks...
