The Hawks held their annual banquet last night where team awards were given out and a great meal was had. The awards are detailed in the article linked below. Some of the highlights - Johanna Solverson won the coaches award (emblematic of the player who represents the team, on-and-off the court, in a positive manner and demonstrates a tremendous work ethic), Stacy Schlapkohl and Jenee Graham were the most improved players, and Abby Emmert won the Dr. Christine Grant Leadership award. A team MVP award is not given out.
Also, not listed in the article are co-captains for next year. They are Wendy Ausdemore, JoAnn Hamlin, and Kristi Smith.
