any chance wegher gets redshirt?
i dont know how they plan on dividing the carries this fall or the next few years, but it seems to me that wegher could be the odd man out, wouldn't it make a little sense to red shirt him this year? if we run into trouble brad rogers is available and if that doesn't work kirk isn't afraid to remove a red shirt...but with coker coming in and i'd assume red shirting, and the possible signings of hayes, gordon, and coe, this seems like a good idea. would love some input

I think his best chance at playing time is now. I am assuming Hampton is going to miss at least one game, and I think Wegher can play straight up against Robinson, who may not be totally healthy. Also, we seem to forget that the one with the least experience at this time is Hampton. He only had backup playing time behind Greene, and did a good job, but he actually has had less carries and playing time than Robinson and Wegher. Who knows, I'm sure Robinson and Wegher would have done a good job as a backup to Shon also. We have some good runners coming in, and I think if Wegher wants to be a running back, he better try to take advantage of the situation as it is now.

I hope they dont redshirt him i actually think that he is our BEST RB he is always a big play threat with his speed and he finishs his run with alot of power, not afraid to lower his shoulder.
